Ballinasloe Area Community Development Ltd. is a charitable company founded in 1999 by four local groups - Chamber of Commerce, Credit Union, Town Council and Creagh Community Development Council, to stimulate local enterprise through the provision of services and incubation space at it's 27,000 sq feet. Centre, phase two will see an additional 10,000 sq. feet.

The Company seeks a Manager with responsibility for the overall Development and Management of the Company.

Reporting to a voluntary  Board the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing a range of projects to assist the growth and development potential for the company.

The successful candidate will have 3 - 5 years commercial/ co- operative experience in either a community  or business development role, also essential is the ability to promote the town and wider business opportunities for inward investment.

Skills Range:

• Excellent commuication, negotiation, facilitation and networking skills
• Experience of fostering Microenterprise
• Business Planning & Financial Control
• Broad commercial understanding of trends affecting enterprise  & community development.
• Knowledge of European and National funding programmes

Attractive Salary  (Circa 50 K) For Full time position commensurate with experience and incentivised package (Initial 3 year fixed term contract but growth of business may neccessitate change in terms and conditions) will apply.
