CHURCH RESTORATION FUND: the collection for last Sunday realised €1,125. Thank you.
On April 1st 1852 the foundation stone for St. Michael’s Church was blessed and on 25th Aug. 1858 the opening ceremony took place. To mark the 150th anniversary, Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, August 17th at 3p.m. and Cardinal Sean Brady, Archbishop of Armagh will preside. All are welcome. People are asked to display flags, bunting, photographs etc in windows during the week preceding and following
20th August. Papal flags are available at Salmon’s, Main Street.
