Ballinasloe Chamber of Commerce which has limited company status since 1990 has as its mission statement; "To work in partnership with the local statutory and non-statutory agencies in promoting the economic and business development of the town and it's hinterland".

It is also the representative organisation of local business interests. The Chamber is affiliated to Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI) and has a Board of 18 Directors and a number of sub-committees in Retail, Enterprise, Infrastructure and Tourism.

The Chamber of Commerce is pro-actively working to develope the Town on all front Commercially, Environmently as well as through the partnership with Ballinasloe Area Community Development (B.A.C.D.) in an Enterprise & Technological way also.

Over the 2006/7 period the Chamber of Commerce have worked on a number of initiative to improve the Business climate in the town. Following the success of the Flower Baskets promotion, the decision was made to repeat again in 2007. Many thanks for all who did their bit, it was well appreciated.
