Ballinasloe Town's young guns travelled to Temple villa this Saturday, and in a tightly fought contest very little separated the two sides. The home side opened the scoring in the first half 1-0, and kept their narrow lead until the dying stage's of the game when the town equalized through a good passage of play finished by Ben Fallon 1-1.

This brought the game into extra time, where the visitors proved to have the stronger legs and pulled in front by two well taken goals in the second half of extra time the first by Daniel Dent and the latter was scrambled home by Evan Brennan to leave the final score 1-3 on the day.
