Our senior team were at home against Ballysadare (Sligo) this weekend, and started the game at a very fast pace.? It was the home side that started the stronger and opened the scoring on the 23rd minute through Shane Duffy 1-0, followed 10 minutes later by his brother Mark Duffy 2-0. The Town Kept up the Pressure through-out the first half, and fifteen minutes into the second half pulled further ahead through the man in the middle Henry Loughnane 3-0. Ballysadare tried as could to make a match of it through the closing minutes, but were dealt another blow in the 92 minute 4-0. Manager Peter Carroll remarked on the good condition of the our home grounds "Brackernagh Development Park" , which is due in no small part to the dedicated work of our grounds keepers Brendan "The Mack" McNalley and Pat Campbell. |
