Ballinasloe under 11 Div 1 team participated in the Connacht stage of the Danone Nations Cup on Sunday Feb 25th in Sligo Showground's, two teams from all Connacht leagues were represented.

Their draw put them up against Buncrana, Ballisodare and Killo, off to a great start they were unlucky to finish with a draw against Buncrana. The second match against local favorites Ballisodare finished 1 - 2 and then in the third Killo who were phyisically stronger went on to win 3 - 0.

Not too disappointed, the team (Dale Flanagan, Phil Gilsenan, Ray Dolan, Kieran Braithewaite, Craig Donnellan, Sean Deane, Ger Dowd, Dylan Keane, Darren Corcoran)all enjoyed the day and manager John Donnellan thanked all the squad and parents who traveled.
