THEY WENT UP THE MOUNTAIN TO PRAY.
Sometimes we need to get out of our own environment to hear the voice of Jesus. The value of a retreat however short is that we can sometimes get a glimpse of peace and hope when normally we are clouded by the darkness of our own human situation.  Make time this Lent to listen in prayer in a place of transfiguration.

Thanks Galwaystan.

I just happened to meet Fr. John Garvey down town this morning where I asked that he would send on the Newsletter to me for publication on Ballinasloe.org

The copy has turned out ok so it looks like I'll be able to get it on the web from here on.

The issue over back-copies will have to wait for a while or until I can find some time in the future.

Good on you Skinner for those of us who attend St Brigids or portiuncula and dont
get the bulletin or even those who dont go at all its nice to keep up with the events
in the parish... the older I get the more people I recognise in the Mass for the week
section...It always brings some Memory of sometime or someone almost forgotten

That scan job works just fine DEV; saves quite a lot of work from the way I was doing it.

That's the guy DEV from what I know. Stan was the name he was referred to by; a grand quite and unassuming character.
