Ballinasloe and District Boxing Club

The boxing club is opened to both male and females over the age of 11 years and under the age of 15 years. Any boxer over the age of 15 years who wishes to join must have a Boxing Record Card with Ballinasloe or with another I.A.B.A Club.

All boxers will need a Full Medical which will cost €25 and the cost of entry is €2 per night.

All boxers must have trainers and sports clothing on while in the Club. A gum shield, a Speed Rope, Hand Bandages and a bottle of Water are needed for every training session.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact any of the coaches of you can call up and speech to one of the coaches in the club when a training session is taking place.

The Ballinasloe Boxing Club has 6 Qualified Boxing Coaches and a Gym which is at the top of the Emerald Ballroom with all the equipment that he/she will need to reach the fitness he/she will need to progress in the sport of Boxing.

Boxing demands more out of a person then most other sports, you have to be very fit, buy you also have to be able to move, to think, to box, to defend and do all that at once while you are on your own in the ring.

Boxing will also give you the chance to represent you town and country and if successful you can go to the Connacht Finals and if you work hard enough you can box for your country and that is at all levels from boy 1 which is 11 years old up to Senior.
